Over 70 years of craftsmanship.

In 1935, C.H. Van Velsen took up a new sideline at his paint and wallpaper shop in Bodegraven, he started painting white concrete roadside posts with an orange ‘hat’.

Not until halfway into the 1950s were road markings introduced in the Netherlands. These were painted using a simple machine towed by a passenger vehicle.

Over the years, Van Velsen has developed into a specialist enterprise that can offer a solution for any circumstance and any location.

We still have the character and strengths of a family business, even though three major construction firms have meanwhile become the sole shareholders of Van Velsen Groep.

The one-man business of yore has grown into a globally-operating specialist enterprise. But the pioneering spirit from the olden days - that's still there!
